Everything you need to know to plan your stay making the trip to Lisbon a pleasant experience.
It is important that you add to your list of e-mail the address

We will send an confirmation e-mail of your booking and instructions for your arrival.
If we need access to the apartment which you occupy during your stay for any repair or maintenance, we will contact you previously.
The apartments have been prepared and equipped for stays of medium and short duration, so that everybody can feel as if you were in your own home. They are duly supplied with bed and bath clothes, as well as the kitchen utensils.
The old buildings did not have elevator, and the maintenance of the original characteristics of the building and apartments, implies that the building does not have elevator, making difficult the access to the people with mobility problems, namely to the wheel chairs.
The guests will have to always respect the basic norms and cares in order to keep the quality and comfort standards. We believe that you’ll contribute to the tranquillity of the other guests and neighbours who share this space with you. Do not hesitate to talk to us in case that you are exposed the excessively disturbing behaviours.
We know that you’ll understand the necessity of some basic rules for the good functioning and preservation of the right, tranquillity and comfort of everybody. SEASONS
At the Blue Budget Apartments the rates are organized by seasons that make vary the values practiced throughout the year.
NUMBER OF GUESTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Each apartment has a maximum number of guests allowed (3 people in the T1 typologies and 5/6 people in the T2 typologies). Only the mentioned customers in the reservation have the right to stay in the apartment.
The presence of an adult is compulsory (older than 18 years) that will be the responsible one for the apartment and the stay during the reservation period. Your reservation implies the agreement with the norms of use of the apartment, whose dates, price and conditions of your reservation that you’ll be able to consult here and that will be stated in a document that the responsible one will sign at his arrival to the Apartment.
All the guests will have to bring a copy of the Citizen Card, Identity Card or Passport of the responsible one for the reservation of the respective apartment.
The guests do not have permission to subletting or to loan the apartment to third ones.
At your arrival it also will be handed over to be signed a check-list, where all the apartment household effects are stated, that will be verified at the moment of your departure. In case of lack of some utensil, or if it is damaged / made unusable, the value of the same, increased of a 35% charge, will be deducted in the value of the guarantee deposit. In case that the value is higher, it will be paid by Credit Card.
The disrespect for the rules and conditions of the reservation confers to the (Blue Budget Apartments) the right to expel the guests and their accompanying persons from the apartment, losing the guest the right to any indemnification.
SMOKERS
In all the apartments that have balcony is allowed to smoke in that exterior zones, as the varanda or the terrace. For your security and comfort it is not allowed to smoke in the entire interior of the building.
CHANGE OF DATES
If you’ll need to modify the dates of your reservation will have to send an e-mail to blueapartments@hotmail.com requesting the confirmation of the new dates. Any alteration of dates will depend on the availability of the apartments and only will be accepted the alteration requests received by e-mail. We will not accept the alterations requested by phone.
Changes requested less than 30 days notice shall be subject to a penalty of 25% of your deposit paid in advance when booking. We will send you a new pre-booking indicating the total amount to be transferred to ensure the new dates.
Requested alterations with less than 30 days of prior notice, will be subjected to a 25% penalty of the deposit previously done when the reservation took place. We will send a new pre-reservation indicating the total sum to be transferred to guarantee the new dates.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Bed linen will be changed every 7 nights. Towels change will be made every 3 nights (on the 4th day). The service of cleaning does not include the cleaning of the kitchen and dishwashing (main meals). In case that the kitchen, or the apartment needs to be clean, this service will charged by 20,00 €/day (extra service).
If you’ll need extra service of cleaning, you must inform us of your preference when doing the reservation, or through phones
00 351 213 468 011 or 00 351 914 736 390, since these services are charged separately. In your apartment you’ll find the table of extras at your disposal. The apartments are always handed over clean and in the day of your departure these must be in reasonable condition. The guest doesn’t have to make any cleaning - we are in charge of this task.
PETS
Your pet is welcome to the
Blue Budget Apartments, so it is enough that you indicate us, at the moment of the reservation, its characteristics on account of hygiene matters, its presence implies an extra service of cleaning in the value of 100,00 Euros.
In these cases the value of the security bail suffers an increase to 100,00 Euros, that will be returned to you on your departure, after verification of the state of normal conservation of the apartment.
We would ask our guests a responsible behavior with respect for local laws and safety, hygiene and comfort of other guests and neighbors.
ENVIRONMENT
We are aware about the importance that the water has for the life and that this is a limited and indispensable good. For this reason, we believe in a responsible use of the water and work to minimize its wastefulness. Also concerning the energy we are interested in making and appealing to a rational use. We know that both are essential for the comfort and quality of life in a house, and do not abdicate of this objective for our guests, but nevertheless we always appeal to a responsible use.
Whenever you take a shower in the
Blue Budget Apartments, know that you’ll be using the energy of the radiating sun of Lisbon to heat your water and thus to contribute to preserve the Environment.
Millions of litres of water and detergent are consumed daily to wash towels that were used only once. As a normal procedure we’ll change sheets and towels once a week or whenever a new guest enters. Nobody change towels every day at his own home, use the (Blue Budget Apartments) as if you were at your home.
CARES IN THE APARTMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All the apartments are equipped with the indispensable so you can usufruct of your home in Lisbon with the comfort and usability. We believe that you’ll use your apartment and the equipment with all the care, as if you were at your home. In the interest of all we request that you scrupulously respect the specific rules of use.
If there will be any bad functioning, problem, damage or failure, you’ll have to inform us, immediately by the phones

The household effects of the apartment were inventoried in a check-list that will be handed over to you at the arrival and it won’t be possible to take away any utensil or equipment from the apartment. What will be detected as missing or damaged will be accounted according to the market price increased of 30,00 € charge / piece as replacement costs.
In this type of habitation, where does not exist a perfect acoustic insulation, it is normal to hear a certain level of noise of our neighbours. We know that you’ll be tolerant and respect the other guests and neighbours. Please, try not to make a lot of noise, mainly at night or in the early morning. Any kind of party, high music or racket that can bother the other guests and neighbours is strictly forbidden.
The signature of the reservation agreement makes you responsible for the good behaviour of the guests that accompany you. If the responsible one or his accompanying persons or invited ones do not keep an appropriated behaviour, the Blue Budget Apartments reserves the right to expel the guests and his accompanying persons or guests from the apartment, losing the guest the right to any compensation, bail or claim.
Nor the Blue Budget Apartments, nor the building owner can be held responsible by any direct or indirect damage, that occur during the period of reservation of the apartment, including personal injuries or damages caused by fire, robbery or criminal behaviour. Nor the Blue Budget Apartments, nor the building owner will be held responsible for any problems related with the supply of electricity, water, gas, access to Internet or TV. But, please, contact us immediately by the phones 00 351 213 468 011 or 00 351 914 736 390 if any of these problems occur, so we can repair them as quickly as possible.
Nor the
Blue Budget Apartments, nor the building owner can be held responsible by any direct or indirect damage, that occur during the period of reservation of the apartment as a result of wrong use of the apartments. Even if they are as consequences like robbery, loss or damages caused by inadequate use of the equipments, furniture, water, electricity or other services available. It is important that you verify that all the equipments are off. For your security it is of your interest and responsibility to close duly the door of your apartment and the door of entrance of the building.
It is our objective that the
Blue Budget Apartments becomes your home in Lisbon, and as such we hope that you always have the same procedures that you would have at your home. Observe the security rules, keeping the doors and windows always closed.
If any one of the described norms will not be fulfilled, the
Blue Budget Apartments, reserves the right to expel the guests from the apartment, losing the customer the right to any compensation or claim.
The reservation of one of the apartments means that the guests accept and respect these conditions. We will ask you to sign a copy of these conditions at the moment of your arrival, together with the details of your reservation.
We know that you understand the need of these rules for the good functioning and preservation of the right and comfort of all. We thank you for your collaboration on all these subjects.
- RESERVATION POLICY -
Arrival and departure
Time of Check-in:
From 14 to 01:30 o’clock. After 1:30 o’clock, has a service charge of 35 €.
Time of Check-out:
Up to 12 o’clock.
To properly prepare your arrival we need you to communicate us the arrival time with a minimum of 2 days.
Contact us if you need to store your luggage - no extra charges.
Reservation confirmation
The confirmation of your reservation involves full payment of the same that will be done within 72 hours before check-in. We accept cash or credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard).
Please note that the reservation is only guaranteed after receiving all data that enable the effective collection and that the guest has received the respective confirmation from the Blue Budget Apartments. Where there is doubt you must confirm by sending an email to

A valid credit card is required at check-in.
At your arrival you will also make a security deposit through a temporary deposit of € 200.00, an amount that will be refunded on your departure, after checking that everything is in good condition in the apartment.
The payment includes the hire of the apartment clean and furnished with linens and towels for all guests. Electricity, gas, water, wireless internet and TV. Simple daily cleaning.
Extras will be paid at the time of your departure.

Children and extra beds
One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. Maximum capacity of baby cots in a room 1
One child under 6 years stays free of charge when using existing bed.
One child over 6 years old will have an extra cost of 35 € per night.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case you need to cancel your stay at the Blue Budget Apartments, the cancellation must be requested by the guest and only by e-mail. The same is not valid if done by other means.
- If canceled up to 3 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before the date of arrival, we charge € 35.00 for processing charges. Refunding of 100% of the amounts that have already been paid.
